08/22/15 few minutes before 3 am my 2 comrades were asleep while I was driving to Lakeview to go south towards Elko. I was just driving along and about 20 miles north of Lakeview suddenly a man appeared on the side of the road.
His hat covered most of his face and as I only saw him for a moment I can't be sure of his clothing. He was waving at us and smiling as we passed yes I could see his smile. It was too dark out to see him in my rear view.

I too lived in Lakeview. The tales of the Sanatorium in Hunters Hot Springs led to many explorations and investigations on the part of my friends and I. Whilst exploring we were all able to feel a definite presence watching us. Loud bumps and whispered words were known to occur. One particular occasion (I was not present for this, but the story was relayed to me by those who experienced it first hand) a few friends were staying in the old house that used to be located behind the hotel. The lights had turned off and on a few times, but my friends didn't really care. They finally decided to go to bed when the stereo turned on and began playing a Metallica cd. The music then abruptly stopped as the CD was ejected and flung across the room. No further incidents happened that night.

I lived in Lakeview, Oregon on and off for about 5-7 years. I lived in a house there in town for about 2-3 years, and I moved in and out about 3-4 times. I truly believe it was haunted and a witch attacked there! I am trying to find out the history of the house and don't know how to go about it? I also had my dad's dog live with me for a while. When she first moved in with me there was a certain spot on the linoleum floor she would not go near or through the kitchen to the bathroom and out the back door.
