88xxx Chestnut is haunted. I was 7 (1995) when we lived there. Too many weird things happened in that duplex.... I remember seeing eyes looking at me through the first floor bedroom window, creepy basement, thoughts of killing my mom, increased violent fights between my mom and her boyfriend. Thought I saw my cat in the dark and reached down (still seeing my cat) but grabbed air.
I was always scared in this house more than any other house. Terrified

one night when mom left my sister and I home alone (she got arrested on the way to the bar) and I remember being apprehensive about the dark hallway.

During one drunken night my mom spoke a lot about hell coming to get us and this was the house. I remember her teaching me to pray.
I don't have contact with my mom anymore (abusive situation) so I've never gotten to ask her if she experienced anything. I'm a skeptic, haven't seen anything substantial, but I have never felt this apprehensive in a house before (we moved a lot).
Could just be a kid's imagination or maybe I sensed something darker there.
