figure moved out of sight. Our house was pretty active at all times of day, but I was curious as I had no response. I went downstairs to find everyone had gone to bed. Sometime after that Brad told us about how he got up from his basement bedroom to get a glass of water or something and was actually attacked by the old woman. He described her in full detail and said she started to strangle him before she dissipated.

and completely random people said they saw the old woman late at night. Needless to say, I ended up moving out of that place. Months go by and I went

to a Blockbuster Video. The woman ringing me up brought up my account which had my old address on it, and she surprisingly said ''that cannot be right that's my address!'' We laughed and then I casually said ''so do you ever see the ghost? '' She responded ''the old woman? Yes, a lot actually, but we leave her alone, and she leaves us alone''.

Comment by Debra: I lived in a haunted house on Oakdale also. It was an old Victorian two story house. We looked into the history of the house and found out in the early 1900s a prominent man was having a affair with their maid the wife found out and he ended up killing his wife, their small son, the maid, and then hanged himself on the stairwell. Creepy place.
