I was a bit freaked out, because my dad would not slam on the brakes unless collision was imminent, and I know he saw it with me. As I have stated before, the only thing he will say about it today is that it was a tree stump, but I have no idea how a tree stump could possibly walk across a road like that. I cannot explain it, which is why it has stayed with me all these years.
