Since we've moved into this new apartment in southwest Portland, my dog has been acting like he can see a ghost, or ghosts. I've found him staring off into corners, or otherwise empty, open spaces. Sometimes he omits a long, low growl, but usually he just stares intently, unwavering, for over a minute. Of course once I find him I don't know how long he's been sitting there staring. He never did this at our old place, he is a young, grinning, energetic dog who is either playing or snoozing. Of course now I think I feel a presence sometimes or hear feet shuffling down the hall as well.

But that might just be because my dog brought up my attention!. Submitted by Lynn
Comment by Stephanie: Where in SW is this? I lived in a very haunted apartment of SW Canby CT. ''Multnomah Village''.

My friend was having twins at Portland Providence hospital. I kept telling her that she should name the little girl emilie... When the twins were born, the little girl had problems with breathing, and is still in care at the hospital. As I was leaving the hospital, I was drawn to a large picture on the wall of the nun who founded the hospital, emilie... I got goose bumps thinking that I had not been able to get emilie's name out of my mind.
