In 2010 I moved into a townhouse on Cascadia off Bornstead Road. Over the course of the 2. 5 years I lived there I would hear my name. One day in particular I was home alone all day. I was sitting on my bed paying bills and doing paperwork. My kids were at their dad's, I had moved there after ending my 20-year marriage. That morning I heard my name, and it sounded like it was coming from just inside my bedroom door. I could see my entire room, so I knew nobody was there. A couple of hours later I heard it again from just outside my room in the hall. Still, nobody was in sight. I said out loud ''ok I'm listening; you have my attention'' Nothing.
It was about 4:30 in the afternoon, and from downstairs in the front room I heard someone yell upstairs to me, my name yet again. This time I was sure one of my boys must be home because it was obviously a male voice. I ran down the stairs saying ''coming, who's home?'' I got down the stairs far enough to see the front room, dining area, kitchen, front and back door to the garage. It was very small. Absolutely nobody was there. The doors were still locked, and the house had an eerie silence.

I moved from there into my own home that June. It happened again that month. I had a long time friend come help me move and stay for two months from out of the country. We had been friends since before I met and married my current ex-husband. She also heard my name come from my second story window and my TV in my new bedroom, which was very weird. So time moves ahead, my faster died in September of 2013. Some things transpired with my mom's health, and I spent five weeks with her in Arizona. I haven't ever figured out who it was that was trying to contact me. It so happened I started reading every book I can get my hands on to figure this out. I email one of the authors of a book I read to see if she could help my mom and her mysterious illness she couldn't shake over a year. It was going to kill her slowly if we didn't figure it out. The lady was a psychic medium. Long story shortened, mom was healed, and I was so profoundly moved I went to see this woman personally when I returned back to Oregon. Coincidentally she lives in Washington and works in Northwest Portland.

As soon as I sat down, I was hit with a clear knowing of whom it was calling my name. Suddenly it all made sense. That was my opening or quickening to my spiritual self. It seemed I have always been able to know things but didn't really realize why or pay attention. It seems that many people like me are ''waking up. '' I am an empath and have been learning to utilize my other gifts. You see, traumatic events sometimes wake people up. My divorce was so traumatic. I even ended up very ill both physically and emotionally. It had started two years before I left my husband. I would wake up in the night from dreams of someone trying to wake me. I would wake up yelling WHAT? Nobody was there. My situation was so toxic that spiritually my higher self and my guides were screaming at me to wake up constantly. I did not know anything about sprit or any of it.
The universe talks to us all but not everyone listens. End of mystery, it seems my high school senior year love was my first husband at 18. We had a son. In 2007 his niece called us to ask if we knew where he was. His mom had died, and nobody could locate him. It was very strange because he went to see her at least every 2 years usually less. Though we rarely heard from him. He has been missing at least since 07. There is no sigh of him. He was running with bad people and involved with drugs and I was hearing him call to me so somebody would know he had passed on. He wanted to say how sorry he was to me and his son. Wake up people and take care of your higher selves and the land. Protect our children and help them evolve into higher beings. Thanks for listening.
