My husband was driving just outside Shedd on 3 / 30/2010 about 8:40 pm northbound. He saw an older man in black clothes w/a beard walking northbound on the right side of the road. My husband slowed down to give extra safety room to walk.
The man looked at my husband in the eye then stepped out in front of the car! My husband locked up the brakes car went into a slide but recovered. My stopped the car in the middle of the road and looked everywhere for

that man.
He was nowhere to be seen. He is very shaken up by this experience. Bevery careful on hwy 99 at night... Seems to be very ''active''.
