My fiancé grew up in a house on 3rd near the bi-mart. His dad died in '01 and we spent quite a bit of time at the house after trying to get things sorted and inventoried etc. One night we were sleeping in the master bedroom and I woke up to see something very tall in black with a hood over it's head it reached out and grabbed my feel and dug it's thumbs into the soles very hard.

I jumped up and pulled my feet away and dug underneath my sweetie. He woke up and when I got back out from under him the thing was gone. But the next morning there were red marks on the soles of my feet.

Funny thing is a couple of years later I was reading one of the Harry Potter books and realized that the thing that grabbed me looked exactly like a dementor. That's fiction of course but that's what it looked like.
