When I was a kid, maybe ten or eleven years old, I was in the cub scouts. One day we had a meeting at another member's house near the Tenmile Elementary School. A friend (I cannot remember his name) and I had ridden our bikes to the meeting that day. After the meeting we were riding back to my house. The Tenmile Cemetery was not far from the meeting and was just off the road on the way to my house. All of a sudden my friend slammed on his brakes. Of course,

I slammed on my brakes as well, but I had no idea why we were stopping. I asked him what was up and he pointed toward a solitary tree on a small hill
|
inside the cemetery. I looked where he pointed and saw what seemed to be a woman in a white gown standing by the tree. I seem to remember it looked as if she had her hand upon the tree as if she were leaning against it to rest or catch her breath. We sat there on our bikes staring at the figure for the longest time talking quietly trying to reason what it was we were seeing.
Was it a person? We decided that it was not a person because it was too
