I lived in Walton in the big yellow house next door to the post office. There were numerous nights when doors would slam in the house and yet doors were locked and secure. The house was truly haunted by ghosts but never seen.
When Linda bought the house I asked the previous owners if there were ghosts and the look on their faces amid their denial told me they knew about it but wanted to sell and get out.
