We were driving east into Winston on highway 42 one night on that big straight stretch. There was an oncoming car but it was quite a ways away. An apparition ran across the road from north to south. I knew it was an apparition because you could see the headlights of the oncoming car through it and even stranger you could only see from the waist down as it tan across.

I asked my husband ''did you see that? '' and he said yes. I looked but there was really nowhere to go on the side of the road. We were driving at freeway speed and got to the spot in seconds. I asked what my husband exactly what he saw and it matched exactly.

In my house in Winston there are many things that happen. This house is owned by the same family for as long as I know but a while back the owner went hiking around in the field behind the house. A ways up there was a clearing with a dead tree stump in the middle of the clearing. When he looked inside he found lots of ziplock bags full of little girl underwear with blood on them. After calling the cops they came and picked everything up nothing done about it really though. But since that day it feels as though they followed him home.If your on the back porch by yourself at times you will hear little girls ( multiple at once) talking to you. Also it feels like something more ''evil'' followed him to. Many times I will walk towards my room and see a tall shadow duck into the doorway of my room but when I turn the lights on nothing is there. This shadow has shown itself to multiple people throughout the years.
But recently it seemed to calm down until about a few months ago. The evil tall one came back it reappeared in the kitchen and gave off such an ominous vibe I saw it and felt it. It made me feel like I wanted to cry and run away slowly I backed up and it walked out of view. It also has thrown books off of my shelf and towards me. My father (who is in the next room) has had both him and his gf see a telephone book (heavy one with all the doors and windows closed) open halfway and close again. The rooms will suddenly drop in temperature and rise again. Also our two dogs will both stop and look into the same corner for minutes on end. But nothing has happened for a while the most that happens is the temperature drop. But I still get the feeling like something is watching me and at times I have trouble breathing. But when there is nowhere else to live you learn to cope...
