I take the 5:20 am ferry each day, so 325 of the 365 days of the year. It's dark at that time. Of note, I've been commuting on that boat for nearly six years. I exit off of Koura Road on to the 305 and head South towards the ferry.
Over the years I have seen plenty of deer, numerous owls and raccoons, as well as other small animals on Koura Road, as well as the 305. However, on two different occasions over the last four years, I've also seen what I

think is an apparition down at the entrance to Meigs Park on Koura.
The first time I saw it (roughly four years ago) I thought a person was waiting

for the bus, and as I got closer, I noticed it had no legs. If you know Koura, it has a steep hill which heads toward the 305. There is a slight gully as it starts to rise up to meet the 305. I was slowing down and checking my speed when I saw it on the right, about five feet off the road in the dirt parking area. I got to the top of the rise to the stop sign and turned around because it just struck me as odd. Nothing was there. I chalked it up to
