Hi I'm 20 years old and I live in Cashmere, I was in my house and there was no one with me and I heard people walking up and down my stairs.

I was four years old and staying with my grandparents on Washington Street. It was morning and I was sitting on a fold out couch playing with my dolls. There was a bay window and when I looked at it I saw a lady floating there just watching me play.

She had on a vintage dress red and black black hair and rosy cheeks. Black lace up boots like from the 1800's. My grandma called me for breakfast and the lady just dissentigrated into thin air. That was 40 years ago and it is still very vivid to me.

It happened it was a spirit of some sort. At the age of four I described it as a witch and found out later in years that a doctor had lived in that house and peformed illegal abortions years before.

Comment by Ruby: I lived in Washington Street too. I also saw a ghostly woman as a kid and felt like I was being watched. I am curious which house was your grandmother's. Perhaps we saw the thing twenty or thirty years apart?.
