This is a true story. I was drinking in high school one night with some friends driving around Roslyn Cemetery. It was October near the end of the month though I don't think it was Halloween night. Snow was coming down hard and kind of windy, 10-15 mph gusts about. We were driving by, and I told my friend to stop because I saw something. Feeling nice and confident with a nice buzz, I ran out to a tombstone way out in the middle of everything.

was a freaking candle burning on it. It was well after midnight, and the fear I felt immediately sobered me up. The flame was not even moving in the wind.

I got like 12 inches away from it to make sure it wasn't one of those fake candle lights. Nope a real flame, but it was completely unaffected by the wind and snow! There were12 inches of snow, and it had been snowing all night. I wasn't scared until I saw that my footprints were the only ones in the cemetery.
No one had been there for at least 4-5 hours with this thing burning. This freaked me out so bad; I will never forget how I immediately sobered up and booked
