About three years ago while me and my friend were driving up Chestnut Street going south. We saw a man dressed in a white and red striped suit. He had a cane and a hat on and looked like he was in his mid 20s or younger. He smiled and waved. I thought maybe I was seeing stuff, so I asked my friend who also said she saw him. We both being scaredy cats, I drove off. It was right before Capitol Street, and I remember him so vividly. The closest thing I

could find to what he looked like was a barbershop dressed man from the 1900s. It could have been someone playing a prank on people, I guess. He just

seemed so real, and I feel like he wanted me to pull over and talk. I think about it every time I drive by that spot.

My family moved to Ellensburg 2 years ago. We moved into a blue house that had a hot-tub that didn't work. The house also had the carpet torn off and the walls re-painted. In the hallway, there were finger prints that were black and looked like someone was slipping and was falling or being pulled towards the floor. No matter how much I try to cover them up, they would come back. It was up for rent for a while and we took it.
We all carried on normally until one day I walked home from school and no one was home. Tired from walking and PE, I sat down in the kitchen. Then I heard my name being called. It was echoing a little. It wasn't the sound of my mom or sister. But somehow it sounded familiar, like one of my classmates. I thought someone had broken in. I then got up and started looking around. I looked through the whole house and no one was anywhere. I was home alone.
