We live in an old house my parents and I. This house has a barn that had a horse that stayed in there until this year (2019). Lately I've been hearing a horse whinnying in the distance.

My boyfriend and I were driving along some back farm roads at night and of course we saw coyotes and bunnies and the obvious cows. We had made a left turn on a road and had gone about a mile down the road when we spotted orange eyes. The creature looks too tall to be dog, but not tall enough for a cow. I slowed down a little to see if we could get a better look at the animal when we stopped and put the flash light on to find the creature. It was no longer there. It was only about 4 seconds time that the animal had to disappear from us.

The animal looked brown or black and it's head looked like it was below it's shoulder blades and it had piercing orange eyes. It didn't walk or run; it was like an odd trot. Either way we left.
