Across the river up in the hills lives the ghost of an old hermit. He lived up there back in the 50s and 60s. He died alone and no one found him for a long time. When a hiker accidentally found him he had been dead for a few years.
It was just a skeleton with clothes on left in his little hut where he lived. If you go out there you can see a weird looking hermit. If you try to approach him he will vanish. He is still a hermit even though he is dead.

found what was left of his body some time in the early 70s and he has been haunting the woods ever since.
