Comment by Orenda: The first time I went to LaPush by myself I took a walk along the beach and the same thing happened. It seemed like it took longer to get back to my car than it did to get to the jetti. I lost time. I thought I'd only been on the beach for a half hour and when I got to my car an hour or more had gone by.
Comment by Helynne: That would be Byak, another cultural ghost. She messes with you mind.

I was haunted by the spirit of a rider on his horse trotting around my car at night on my last trip to La Push. I had arrived late that night and it was way too dark to do the hike, thus I spent the night in my car and got haunted by this apparition.
The next day there were no tracks around my car which left me to think that I had witnessed a supernatural phenomenon. I have not gone back there but would to go back soon.
