We live by Palmer Lake and have a shadow spirit who likes to pace our back wood line and peers into the windows. Blinds and sage keep things mellow. Interested in hearing stories from fellow Lakebay/Longbranch residents.

Comment by Abe: Hi, I used to live up the hill from the Longbranch community church near you. As a kid me and my friends saw a pacing spirit we called Danny. He wears a cloak with a hood and looks like the Grim Reaper without a scythe. We actually got really close to him. He is haunting the area, but I have no idea why.

Before I moved I lived in a mobile home with my mom. One night my mom, myself, and her friend were all sitting in the living room. I had been happy all day long, and while we sat there I felt like was going to cry, but I also felt very mad like I wanted to kill someone. My mom and her friend were asking me ''are you OK? Are you ok?'' I didn't answer. When I got up to go to the bathroom I felt like someone was standing right in front of me, and I felt them looking into my eyes. When I was little I met a man who I called the man in the brown hat and long coat. I thought it was him at first but knew it couldn't have been him because he would never do something to me like that. In fact, one day he had told me that he was there to protect me and wouldn't let anything bad happen to me. From then on I felt safe.

I lived in Longbranch the year my mom died. In every house she lived in, strange things seemed to follow. I was mostly too young to remember but in the house in Longbranch I can remember some crazy incidents.
One was that there was a small guest house next to ours.. In that guest house and the laundry room in the regular house me and my little brother and sister would often see a man wearing a pink shirt.
