Well this actually happened to my sisters boyfriend somewhere in Mabton. There are a lot of stories that people have experienced as well. Her boyfriend was driving one night through Mabton coming from work and he noticed a young lady walking along the roadside he heard the stories of the hitchiking ghost female before, and wasn't a believer so he slowed down and waited for her to walk up to the window as she did he noticed she was real pretty but got scared

and started driving away changed his mind well his window was rolled down a little not half ways yet and as he drove off she grabbed on to the window

when he looked her nails were long and dirty her face had suddenly turned ugly and screaming at him and disappeared.
He never took a night shift again. The girl is said to scare or make males driving alone crash they say her car had broken down and was walking home late at night when some drunk bikers stopped and murdered her then dumbed her body around there.
