I slept on his grave once, spent a lot of time walking those roads late at night and often hear something following me.

I heard there was a lot of devil worshiping that took place in mattock back in the day. there are a lot of weird stories about mattock and I'm sure a lot of them are false but at the same time there are a lot of convincing stories.
And if you ever been in Matlock at night you know there is truly something heavy in the air. .

I was out at the mattock cemetery late last night with a few of my friend's checking out John turnow's grave ''look him up on google'' and we were so frightened getting out of the car with the feeling of being watched, and the convincing sound of whispers and shh's coming from all around.
It was either some kid's messing around or ghosts. Hard to say what's more likely. Anyways we were so frightened we got back in my friend chris's car and left. Later returning with the sound's still around.
