down; they rolled off. I tried different positions, and it still happened. I put it in the vase, and it still fell over. So, I put the carnations in the vase, and to my luck it stayed. I took them out and put the larkspur back in, and it fell over. This time though, when I went to pick up the rhododendrons again, they weren't there.
I'll admit, I was pretty darn freaked at this point, and I've been visiting this cemetery for years. So, as quickly
as I could, I snatched up the larkspur and the vase and laid the rhododendrons down before making my way out of there. However, when I reached the gates,
I found that just outside of them, lying on the ground, were the rhododendrons, perfectly arranged. I've never put down anything but carnations since.|
