Before they built the dam there were these waterfalls where the lake is and one of them were known to have been the dwelling of a spirit. As a result of the flooding of the area by the lake the spirit moved into the lake and now haunts the lake. If you go there when it's really quiet you can hear a voice calling your name, it's a different voice for everyone, really weird phenomenon.
This has been going on since the waterfall was flooded over

one hundred years ago. It has not gotten any weaker over the years, that ghost is here to stay.
