held a party there or anywhere; we didn't even drink. We were quiet honeymooners who had not as of yet made friends in the area and the only visitors

we had had over to the house were a couple of people we knew from Church.
Fortunately my father-in-law had been a landlord himself and knew that what she was attempting was illegal, and intervening, he advised her that the law provided that tenants had a legal right to a 30 day notice, so they left. After the strange events that we had experienced there, however, we were not at all disappointed about having to move, and we found another place to stay
