this story, I realized they were in the same location. The whole thing is quite unnerving. 1968 close to Halloween my friend had dropped me off at home and was headed to his place out toward West Beach. At the very end of W. Beach Rd headed south my friend noticed 3 children in costumes walking in the middle of the street in front of him.
. As he approached he noticed they wore old fashioned costumes. A ghost a witch and a devil. Just as he was about

to go around them... All 3 turned and began walking toward his oncoming car. He became uncomfortable and went out around them.
There was only one home

in that area back then. Now today years later my daughter brought her fiancé to the island to visit. Until that day I had no reason to have shared my story. However that day just before Halloween in 2001 they were driving south on west beach road when 3 children crossed in front of their car at an angle.
Her fiancé slammed on the brakes as the children crossed without even looking up. They thought it odd that the 3 kids were dressed in old costumes.... A devil
