I also live in Highland Estates and was looking to see history of the area and ran across this website. I have lived here for about three years, and my sister has told me she saw a woman on the stairs out of the corner of her eye. I did not believe her until just last night when my other sister had an urge to come into my room. While she was unlocking my room I opened my eyes and saw a small shadow with long fingers run to my corner to seemingly hide

behind my stuff for my dorm room for the coming year.
I have only had this thing happen at three other houses: one time at my friends when we bought

a Ouija board, once at my grandma's old house, and when I was a kid I would constantly see these things and have to sleep with my parents until we moved from my aunt's basement into our first house. I am still trying to decide if I was hallucinating because I recently woke up or if these were spirits. If anyone knows history on Highland Estates as to why this would happen, I would love to know.
