10 miles north of Prescott in Columbia county there is ranch there that had 3 homes. 2 of them were haunted. True story! I know I lived out there. 2different families (spirits) in each. A another family member has witnessed all of this.
A locked hose doorway down a dirt road someone opened the door waking the wife. She listened in fear hearing footsteps walking through the kitchen. Then there was a man standing looking into the bedroom from the dining room.

turned out to what she said was our great grandfather who lived there farming from 2 decades before. A separate incident that really freaked out the entire

family nightmare my young little brother was having was an old man input basement.
In the overhauls and 2i white dogs took a gun and shot himself in head! My dad turned white and said had just described an old man who lived in their original house had shot himself in the headed.
Wore overhauls and had 2just white dogs!!! . His son and wife. Had built a new house and this was where we lived. There are few more stories but I have taken enough
