When I was a child I lived in a house on 5th Street NE. The house is directly next to the Milwaukee Bridge. Puyallup River goes through the back yard. It's a small old house, and the attic has been converted to 2 bedrooms. I was 8 years old and lived upstairs alone. One time I woke up in the middle of the night to a girl about the same age as me sitting at the foot of my bed glowing blue and white. She was in an old fashioned dress. She was just staring at me. I said ''hey get off of my bed. Get off of my bed! '' She just kept staring.

I went downstairs and got my dad who told me I was dreaming and walked me back up to my room. Sure enough she was gone. I remember this very clear still 23 years later. I've always wanted to know if maybe someone died in the house or maybe drowned in the river behind it. While we were living there there was a guy who drove his truck down to the river bank behind our house. He drank a bunch of beer and shot himself in his truck. Very creepy home!.
