I was riding my bike by Alder Street in 2013, and I saw a small ball of light by the bank of the river. I first thought someone was having fun, maybe some kids were playing with their flash light. Then I realized I was the only one there.
It was in August, so even though it was 7:30 pm I still had some day light. I saw a guy sitting be the bank. I thought he was fishing. I went up to him and said ''excuse me did you just see the light too? '' he

never turned his face to me.
He shook his head. I thought maybe he didn't want to be disturbed as he was trying to fish. I walked back to the bike

trail. Then again I saw the ball of light again where I first saw it. I looked at the fisherman thinking this time he must have seen it too.
I looked and he wasn't there anymore. He had disappeared! I got so scared. I rode my bike as fast as I could away. I did some asking around and found out that once in the late 1990s a drunk fisherman drowned there.
I guess he is still there fishing.
