I used to live in hillyard a block away from Minnehaha park. One night me and my friends were chilling up there. We did this quite frequently but on this night we elected not to go as far up Beacon as we normally did.
We were in the woods just above the old building where the bathrooms are and all three of us distinctivley heard a brief laugh. We were all freaked out and were talking about leaving when suddenly it sounded as if something were walking towards us from multiple directions.

I shined my maglight in all directions and we never saw anyone around but it sounded like whatever was walking toward us was only a few feet away. It was at this point we decided to leave. We continued to go back to this park and nothing weird ever happened to me for a while until I was showing another friend the creepy building, and we heard someone whispering and someone walking down the trail because my friend worries about gang-bangers we started leaving the park as we were walking back to my rig we scanned the wide open area and no-one was there we waited for about fifteen minutes and there was still no-one around.

There's definitely something strange about that park.

Once I was alone with my sister at night in our old house, which our dad had died in. It was a very old house, so we'd just assumed it was haunted even before he'd died. Anyways, we were watching TV when she decided to heat up some noodles in the kitchen.
She got up, and when the microwave beeped she remembered she forgot to get chopsticks. So she headed downstairs to her room to grab some chopsticks. I heard a loud bang, and the TV turned off, but the ceiling fan started going at full blast.
