As a kid I remember playing in the woods behind the Walmart of bonneylake the woods used to span all the way to Orting. Well one day my brother and two of our friends hiked a new area about 5-7 miles southeast of what's now Walmart. When we came upon an old woman walking off one of the trails into very thick brush so just like curious kids we followed until we lost sight of her that's when rocks started being thrown at us from all sides so we ran until we were out of breath laughing at how scared the other was.

Knowing we wouldn't go back. Submitted by Josh
Comment by Jack: I remember the woods during the early 70s before Wal-Mart and the other shopping centers went in. There was a ghost that we had called the mummy of the swamp that wondered the area. If you know where the swamp is at then you know where had wondered the most.

When I was little I remember living in Sumner heights in the 80's in a duplex with my parents and siblings. I remember having the most horribly vivid nighmares ever! ... I still find it hard to believe that they were simple childhood nightmares.... I never had them like this any other of the many places we lived. I recall living near a field that had horses a large white house and an old cement ruin that had spiral steps with 2 rooms in the 'basement' area...
