I used to live in an old house on Crescent Ave. My sister had barely moved out and I was left alone in the room upstairs. This room was split in two from where the stairs connected and then the back room which was attached to the attic that wasn't finished so my dad blocked the doorway with a sheet of plywood. My sister used to sleep and this black day bed and I thought it would be cool to move in. So one night coming home I went into my sister's room; turned

off the light which was one you turned on and off by a string and lay down in her bed.
While dozing off I felt something hit the bed beside my

feet. Thinking nothing of it I kicked it off. It then hit beside my knee, so I kicked it off again and then it struck bam bam bam bam from the feet up to my waist area beside me. I jumped up, flicked the light on, checked under the bed, grabbed my pillow and blanket, and slept downstairs from that day on.
This happened when I was around 17. At this same location the first couple of days we had moved in I was on the phone with my boyfriend at
