It could be, but these are round and dust particles, and snow are not.

8 of us, who were staying in Lake Pearrygin State Park over memorial day weekend, decided to take a midnight walk up to an abandoned cabin. Some in the group, who have been coming to Lake Pearrygin for over 20 years, claimed the cabin to be haunted.
The photos we took were with an entry level Olympus point and shoot digital camera. The night was dry and pitch black with our flashlights off, but the flash on our camera picked up 1000's of orbs.
